One night in the week, I was cooking my normal, clean chicken meal when I realized that I make the same meals over and over the day I need it. So I told myself I would look at more healthy dinner recipes on Pinterest to have different types of nutrients from other proteins and meal prep for the week so I’m better prepared. I’ve made all the easy, fast healthy dinner recipes from my last article for one and sometimes for two with my boyfriend. But I am ready for simple clean eating with new meats, and sometimes no meat, vegetarian for when I’m feeling healthy vegetarian dinner ideas.
I think this list is more diverse in many ways. First, ethically since I could include more Mexican options like this Quinoa salad recipe. Also when considering health, this list is slightly more varied because I have vegan and vegetarian options (some more here if you like avocados), Paleo diet meals, and even gluten free because kids in my recently had a major allergic reaction to pasta their mom made for four. There’s even dinner for weight loss, like my cheap fish and shrimp casserole, and for picky eaters, like grill and bake turkey. You can do this all on a budget so you don’t need a crockpot or slow cooker for your new weightloss diet. I even have cheap tricks to staying healthy with low carb meals under 500 calories, not just during summer.
1. Healthy Beef and Broccoli for Weight Loss
Broccoli with beef is such a great combination of protein and vegetable health. It’s good for kids because they like the tasty meat but will also eat it with the veggies to stay healthy. You won’t need a slow cooker!
2. Chicken Grill – Not Only for Summer
Chicken and a grill are perfect for summer days. But in this recipe, you’ll feel like it’s summer even when it’s not because it’s Hawiian like your dream vacation for two. Make it for date night for a cheap getaway since we’re all on a budget to actually go to our dream destinations.
3. Fast Dinner Recipe – Use Chicken Beef Pork or Turkey
This is such an easy, fast healthy dinner recipe. You can just prep and throw it into an oven. You don’t have to use chicken in this meal style. You can replace it with pork or beef. Turkey would be healthy option.

Making food for a family or kids would be really easy if they all liked chicken because this recipe is so easy meal prep. For my cooks with a slow cooker or crockpot, now is the time to use it! Rice is an easy grain to cook and have as a basis for any meal for four. Add chicken and it’ll be a tasty one the kids or your spouse will love.

So many veggies you can cook in a crockpot. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, you don’t have to add this steak to your dinner. It’s just showing us all we can do with your slow cooker if you were on a budget to buy one.
10. Chicken or Shrimp Pasta – Clean Eating
If you’re looking for a clean, easy meat to cook, chicken is always a safe bet. That’s why it’s typically my go to, but thankfully there’s so many recipes that mine will never taste the same anymore. You can also make this stir fry with shrimp, which is also easy to cook for clean eating.
11. Healthy Baked Chicken Parmesan for Protein Cheap for Kids
When you’re craving pasta, prep your meal with this chicken parmesan. After reading this, I did not know it was so easy to make the meal I always get at restaurants. This is perfect for a family get together because everyone, even picky eaters love chicken parmesan.
