Let’s talk about healthy lunch ideas for work and how easy recipes can increase the odds of a successful meal prep.  I’m a huge proponent of eating healthy and clean because the more discipline I have in my diet, the more effective my work out routine is for weight loss.  I consider this living smart, not living hard.  There is another side benefit to these lunch ideas that you can make at home: saving money.  If you look back at your credit card balance, you’ll see that going out to eat, even if it’s just 10 bucks here or there for lunch, adds up quickly.  The other issue with eating out for lunch is that it’s way harder to eat healthy at a restaurant.  There are tons of yummy choices that are loaded with fat and salt that look healthy.  So to help you win at your weight loss goals, and to help you maintain energy throughout the day, I have Googled and Pinterest and Instagram’ed my way to the most delicious and healthy lunch ideas that you can bring to work.  

The best way to execute on these healthy lunches is to plan ahead with a meal prep routine!  Pick out five recipes, go the grocery store, pick out the ingredients, and make the lunches ahead of time (like the night before while waiting for dinner to cook).  One of my requirements for these lunches was that they be quick and easy to  make.  I know if they are extremely complicated there is a lower likelihood of you sticking with it.  So throw these packed lunch ideas into your lunchbox and let’s have a healthy day at work.
